Ford BA-BF BTR 4SPD Transmission

Complaint:
Delay in reverse and / or failed planetary gear sets.

Cause:
The factory set up Oil pump does not flow enough volume of trans fluid throughout the auto.

Correction:
After lengthy R&D we have concluded that the cause for the delay in reverse gear (sometimes up to 2-3 seconds) is due to an oil pump insufficiency.

This oil pump insufficiency is that poorly designed that it starves the internals from oil lube. Including the planetary gears sets.

We fit our modified oil pumps to all BA-BF 4spd autos including 6 cylinders, v8, turbos.

Result:
- A quick engagement into reverse gear, every single time!
- Increase lube flow throughout the tarns, saving the planetary gears.

We can supply complete autos with our oil pump set up or just the oil pump alone.
